Find out moreLessons take place in a relaxed and encouraging manner on the course, at the driving range or in the indoor Sim Room where all professionals are experienced in video analysis. After coaching, you are provided with key-action pointers to cement the changes into your swing.

Video analysis is used in lesson to help you see and understand your tendencies and swing faults.
We have the Trackman 4 launch monitor that can be used on our 7 bay driving range with is own privet teaching bay. In the summer months we also have a large grass teaching area.
Our latest addition to our fantastic facilities is our new indoor golf studio with Trackman iO, offering you the latest tec to have lessons indoor or to play the worlds best golf courses. The indoor studio is also available to our members for hire.
Looking to sharpen the short game? We have you covered with our pitching and chipping green with deep green side bunker. We also have a large, sloping putting green for all putting lessons.

Our Staff
Peter Baker - Head PGA Professional
I represented Great Britain & Northern Ireland in the 1985 Walker Cup and was a member of the 1993 European Ryder Cup Team. Since 1986 I have played in over 580 tournaments on the European Tour - winning the Benson & Hedges International in 1988 and, in 1993 won both the Dunhill British Masters and the Volvo Scandinavian Masters. I also Captained England in the 1998 Alfred Dunhill Cup. In addition I was Ian Woosnam's Vice Captain for the victorious 2006 European Ryder Cup Team. I have been involved with South Staffs G.C. for over 30 years. As Head Professional, I aim to use my experience to help both the average club player and gifted low handicapper get the best out of their game and enjoy their golf. In particular I am very proud of South Staffs Golfmark status. We are one of only a very few clubs in Staffordshire to have this Junior Coaching accreditation. As a former junior international, I am aware just how important it is for youngsters to get a good start and to be coached in the right direction if they feel they want to make a living from the game.
